MORE CAPACITY TO FEEL.

MORE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE.

1:1 Somatic Conversations

Build the capacity to be with more of your experience — emotions, sensations, thoughts and patterns — without being overwhelmed or automatically driven by what arises.

By slowing down and becoming curious about what is happening within, we create space for more inner safety, connection and choice.

Perhaps some of this feels familiar.

Your mind rarely seems to stop.
You analyze, anticipate, replay conversations. What if…? Even when everything seems fine, there can be a sense of worry underneath it all.

You feel lost between what was and what comes next.
The old ways no longer seem to fit, but you're not yet sure what wants to take their place. You think, analyze and search for answers — yet the more you try to figure it out, the harder it can become to hear your own direction.

You understand yourself — but still find yourself in the same patterns.
You've talked, reflected, tried therapy or coaching. You can often explain why you react the way you do. Yet when something gets activated, that understanding doesn't always change what happens.

You easily lose yourself in other people's experience.
Someone you love is struggling — and suddenly you're feeling it too. Their emotions can become difficult to separate from your own.

You rely on the outside to feel safe on the inside.
Reassurance. Advice. Someone telling you it's okay, you're making the right choice, everything will be fine.

Different parts of you pull in different directions.
One part wants to move forward, take chances, say yes and live more fully. Another hesitates, holds you back or worries that it might become too much.

There doesn't always seem to be a middle ground.
You disconnect from what you feel — or become completely absorbed by it.

You may not need to understand yourself more.
You may need a greater capacity to be with what you already understand.

I'm Sofia. My work is rooted in a deep curiosity about what shapes us — our nervous systems, emotions, patterns, and the relationship we have with ourselves.

My background spans nearly a decade of working closely with people, alongside academic studies in communication with a particular focus on identity and intrapersonal communication. My curiosity about our inner world has since led me into professional training in mindfulness, meditation and different approaches to understanding the patterns that shape us. Today, I'm continuing that exploration through a three-year professional training in Somatic Experiencing®.

More than any particular method, I believe in the quality of the space we create together. Rather than telling you what to do, I offer a space to slow down, become curious about what is already happening within you, and discover new ways of relating to yourself.

A little about me

We begin with what is here.

Rather than only talking, we slow down and become curious about your full experience — your thoughts, emotions, sensations, impulses and patterns.

We work gently, in manageable pieces, allowing the nervous system to move between what feels challenging and what brings more support, stability or ease. Instead of forcing change, we create the conditions for your system to find its own capacity to move, settle and reorganize.

This may also mean becoming curious about protective responses that once helped you cope, but may still shape how you react today.

The intention is not to get rid of difficult emotions. It is to expand your capacity to experience them without becoming overwhelmed, shutting down or losing yourself in them.

Over time, this can create more inner safety, connection and choice — where there once were automatic reactions.

More capacity to feel. More freedom to choose.

How we work

What can begin to change

You may begin to notice more space within yourself.

A difficult feeling can be there without becoming your whole experience.

Someone you love can be struggling without you having to lose yourself in what they feel.

You may notice a little more space between an impulse and your response — creating more room for choice.

The constant need to understand, analyze or seek reassurance can begin to soften as you build more trust in your own ability to meet what arises.

As the need to figure everything out begins to soften, you may find it easier to hear your own inner direction — and trust what feels true for you.

And instead of moving between shutting down and becoming overwhelmed, you may gradually find a greater capacity to stay present with yourself.

Not because difficult feelings disappear.
But because you become more able to stay with yourself when they come.

Work with me

1:1 Somatic Conversations

A space to build the capacity to be with more of your inner experience — while staying connected to yourself.

We meet what is here, at a pace your system can work with.

60-minute 1:1 sessions

Online or in person when available.

While a single conversation can open new perspectives, this work is most supportive when we meet consistently over time.

Building the capacity to stay connected to yourself, navigate your inner experience, and respond with greater choice is a gradual process — one that unfolds at your own pace.

I'll be opening a limited number of spaces for 1:1 Somatic Conversations starting in January 2027.

If this work resonates with you, you're warmly welcome to reach out in the meantime.

Curious if this could be right for you?

You don't need to know exactly what you need before reaching out.

If something in this work resonates, you're welcome to send me a message. We can have a short conversation and see whether working together feels like a good fit.
